UMarket is a FREE app that makes life simple for a small business by automating its rewards programs. It also makes life convenient for customers by getting rid of all physical cards (punch cards, reward cards, etc.) and not requiring the use of special mobile apps.
UMarket is a complete sales and marketing automation software service for small businesses combining CRM, email and text marketing, offer redemptions and performance tracking at the point-of-sale. UMarket collects credit card purchase data on your Clover station to identify your best customers and your lost customers – and automatically sends the right offers to the right customers at the right time to grow your sales. Social and Mobile customers simply join with an email address or phone number and use their credit cards as usual.

You now have a series of "set-it-and-forget-it' marketing programs to gain new customers and retain existing ones. Convert shoppers who have only purchased once into Returning Customers (2x buyers), then into Retained Customers (3 or more purchases), and finally, into Loyal Customers. UMarket also uses purchase history data to trigger automatic Win Back Offers to bring back customers who used to purchase frequently but have not bought recently, and renews their loyalty to your business. And there's more.. You can also send your promotions to your customers on special days like holidays, game day and birthdays, and even post your promotions automatically to facebook and twitter.

Setting up an offer is simple: decide on the title, description and images you’d like to embed in each offer and save each offer for automatic delivery to your customers.

    Custom Offers and promotional offers can automatically publish to your social media pages. Just connect your social accounts in the offer and it will be automatically published to your social media pages. Your social media followers can then enroll with an email address or phone number to receive your promotions. Personalized Offers are sent to each customer by email or text message.
    There can only be one offer of each type. However you can create a new offer at any time. Creating a new offer of the same type will inactivate the current offer.
    Once an offer has been sent to customers, certain terms such as expiry date cannot be changed. You can however edit the title, terms and claim limits at any time.
    You can also create a new offer that supersedes the current offer and will become the default for all future emails. The old offer will still be valid for redemption by customers who have received it. While your dashboard shows you active offers, you can view your inactive offers by selecting from the dropdown box.

    Sign in to your web dashboard. Click on the drop down next to your business name to select Account Info. Click Preferences. Here you can subscribe or unsubscribe to receive reports by email.
    Login to your web dashboard. Click on the drop down next to your business name and select Account Info. Tap on the Reset Password tab. Enter your old, new and confirm new password and hit submit.
    Login to the web dashboard. Click on the drop down next to your business name to select Account Info. Here you can make changes to your email address, business Address, Name, Business logo etc.

    Customer preferences
    The Customer Marketing Preference feature is a useful tool that helps you keep track of which customers are comfortable receiving marketing messages via email or text message. To enable the Marketing Preference entry feature:

    1. Open the Setup app on your Clover device or on the Web Dashboard.
    2. Select the Features category.
    3. Check the checkbox to enable Customer Marketing Preference.
    4. Change the text in the text box to the message that you’d like customers to see when given this option.

    After each transaction, ask your customer to join your marketing program with an email address or phone number to receive your discounts and promotions. Check the Marketing Preference entry on your Clover station. Your customer will then immediately receive your sign up offer.
    Tap customers on the left navigation bar. Then click on registered customers. Here you will see a list of your customers who have opted in to receive your marketing promotions.
    Customers who have not made a purchase from your business using credit or debit card previously are counted as New customers. And those Customers who have shopped previously at your business with their credit or debit card are counted as Returning customers. Please allow 24 hours after first installing the UMarket application for the dashboard to update.
    Login to your web dashboard. Under Customers, find Enrolled Customers tab - search by name or email address or phone number, tap on edit - enter birthdate. If you would like to mark this customer as a favorite then click on the check box. If you have a birthday offer setup these customers will automatically qualify for a birthday reward. You can also send Custom and Promotional offers to your favorite customers.
    There are several reasons this might happen.
    1. The email address may be entered incorrectly. Please correct it.
    2. Your offer may have reached its cap and no more offers are being sent out. You can increase the claim limit.
    3. Your offer email may be stuck in the customer’s SPAM folder. Please ask the customer to check and mark your offers email as not spam.
    You do. You enroll your customers to receive your marketing promotions and you use UMarket to reward your customers. We will never directly contact your customers other than on your behalf.
    Two ways. They can simply click on the unsubscribe link provided in the text message and in the footer of each email they receive. A customer can also be unsubscribed in the store by the staff on the Clover station. Either way, the customer will cease to receive your promotions.
    We want you to easily experience UMarket and it's potential to grow your sales with happy and engaged customers. You can get started and set up any of the marketing programs for FREE - with incentives targeting new customers, top spenders, frequent visitors (punch card program) and lapsed customers. You can send your promotions on holidays, birthdays and other special days. All of this is FREE for up to 100 customers. If you want to use the service for more than 100 customers, you have option to upgrade to unlimited usage for a small monthly subscription fee.

    Yes. If you stop using the service, then just cancel in the Clover app store and you will not be billed in future months.
    Sales summary provides you a breakdown of your total sales across days, weeks or months. You can track and see how your marketing promotions are affecting your sales during any period. For example, if you run a holiday promotion, you can compare across similar periods to note relative sales lift or sales drops. You can also make an entry of all your external marketing activities in the notebook and we will track their impact on your sales.
    The heatmap shows you the average hourly sales during any day of the week in a single month and tracks it to prior periods. You might use this chart to compare your Thursday's 2-3 PM sales and compare it to prior months. This information is helpful to make sure your are staffing your business most heavily during the hours it is most likely to be busy, and more lightly if the sales have been dropping during certain hourly periods. You might also use this information to decide to run promotions that are valid during hourly periods when your sales are dropping.
    We will send you a report each week by email that shows sales trends and customer counts compared from prior periods.
